3 Questions
As we were singing the Christmas carol Do you see what I see. The three questions contained within the carol ignited my imagination and transported me to the book of John and the words of Jesus. These three thought-provoking questions I leave with you to ponder along with some passages that came to mind as I was singing this Christmas carol. Merry Christmas. Do you see what I see? John 5:19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
Do you hear what I hear? John 12:49-50 I don't speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.”
Do you know what I know? John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—
John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 13:17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. One last question; What might God be birthing within you for you to nurture and attend to in 2024?
May 2024 be filled with seeing, hearing and knowing God's unconditional-lavish love and being a channel of the same to others.
And to ALL a good night.
